Our WSET 1 training day offers a first practical approach to the world of beer for amateurs as well as for people wishing to find a first job in zythology.
TASTING
You taste 16 beers from the greatest producing regions in the world. We carefully select our beers, most of which are artisanal.
FUNDING WITH MY FRENCH CPF ACCOUNT (CPF)
This training can be financed by your CPF as part of the CLOE certification (with an additional fee for the CLOE training platform and CLOE certification). You will develop your vocabulary and your fluency in English.

Who is this training for ?
This course is the perfect entry point to the world of beer. Ideal for the beginner beer enthusiast, or those starting a career in zythology or hospitality.
The structure of the course
The WSET 1 beer training includes 6 hours of classroom lessons, taught by certified trainers. A booklet will be given to you the same day, in which you will find the essential points covered during the training, as well as tasting grids and self-assessment exercises. You will take you WSET exam at the end of the session.

• The main ingredients and main stages of beer production • The most common beer styles and their characteristics • How to store and serve beer • How to describe a beer using the WSET Systematic Approach to Beer Tasting® (Level 1)
Assessment
At the end of your session, you will be assessed on the knowledge acquired during a closed book test. You will have to answer 30 multiple choice questions in 45 minutes. To get your WSET 1 certificate in beer, you will have to answer 70% of the questions correctly. The success rate for the exam by Weeno in 2023 is 100%. In the event that you fail the exam, it is possible to take it again. The cost of registration for a re-sit is 80 euros.
Pre-requisite and accessibility
This training does not require prior knowledge of wine. You must be 18 years old to register. Excellent comprehension and writing in the selected language are also encouraged to follow the course.
