It consists of a first 3-day session, followed by a break dedicated to practice and preparation for your WSET test. The second 3-day session ends with your WSET exam. Your WSET teaching materials will be given to you when you register, to allow you to prepare for your session. We recommend a minimum of 60 hours of personal work in preparation for your training.

At the end of your session, you will be assessed on the knowledge acquired during a closed book test. To pass unit 1, you will have to answer 50 multiple choice questions, as well as four short written questions in 2 hours. To pass unit 2, you will be subject to a blind tasting test of two wines, during which you will be asked to describe a wine precisely and to analyse its quality. To get your WSET 3 certificate, you will have to answer 55% of the questions properly for each of the units. The success rate for the exam by Weeno in 2024 is 100% in tasting and 85% in theory. In the event that you fail the exam, it is possible to take it again.
