The WSET level 2 Award in beers is designed for beginners, amateurs or professionals, wishing to acquire a solid foundation in zythology, a wide knowledge of world beers. You will be prepared to work in professions in the beer sector. This program is also aimed at people who wish to undertake a professional transition to the beer sector.

ONLINE WSET LEVEL 2 IN BEER : INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Courses are delivered in English on the official international WSET platform. You are 100% free to choose when to connect to follow your study program. You will be able to meet with hundreds of fellow students from around the world on the platform and exchange with a teacher available online.
Your course will include videos, pictures, flashcards, quiz and a mock up exam.
You will receive your study materials in English.
You can take your exam online, in Paris or in Marseille

This online course is perfect for those seeking a thorough introduction to the world of beers and zythology.
The structure of the course
Your training : 5 weeks of training online. Your exam : your exam can be taken online or in person (Paris or Marseille). Exams are held every month and you can choose your exam date (within 6 months). Registrations are closing 10 working days before the start of a session.

Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe beers with confidence. • The main ingredients of beer, their production methods • Factors that influence the style of beers • The major beer producing regions in the world and their specialties • Labeling terms • The rules for storing and serving beers • How to describe a beer using the WSET Systematic Approach to Beer Tasting® (Level 2)"
Assessment
A one-hour final exam will take place. To obtain your certification, you will have to correctly answer 55% of the 50 multiple-choice questions. You will receive your result by email about 4 weeks after your exam date. Your certificate and pin will then be mailed to you. The success rate of our students in this exam is 100% in 2023. You can retake the exam if you do not pass for a fee of 120 euros.
Pre-requisite and accessibility
This training does not require prior knowledge of wine. You must be 18 years old to register. Excellent comprehension and writing in the selected language are also encouraged to follow the course.
