The structure of the course
The WSET 1 beer training includes 6 hours of classroom lessons, taught by certified trainers. A booklet will be given to you the same day, in which you will find the essential points covered during the training, as well as tasting grids and self-assessment exercises. You will take you WSET exam at the end of the session.
Assessment
At the end of your session, you will be assessed on the knowledge acquired during a closed book test. You will have to answer 30 multiple choice questions in 45 minutes. To get your WSET 1 certificate in beer, you will have to answer 70% of the questions correctly. The success rate for the exam by Weeno in 2024 is 100%. In the event that you fail the exam, it is possible to take it again. The cost of registration for a re-sit is 100 euros.
Pre-requisite and accessibility
This training does not require prior knowledge of wine. You must be 18 years old to register. Excellent comprehension and writing in the selected language are also encouraged to follow the course.
