You have complete flexibility to decide when and where you connect to follow your study programme at your own pace.
On the platform, you will join a global community of students and have the opportunity to exchange with your teacher, who is available online throughout the course.
Your learning journey will include videos, images, flashcards, quizzes, and a mock exam to help you prepare with confidence.
All study materials are provided in English.
You can choose to take your exam online or in person at our centres in Paris or Marseille.

This online course is perfect for those seeking a thorough introduction to the world of beers and zythology.
The structure of the course
Your training : 9 weeks of training online. Your exams : your exams can be taken online or in person (Paris or Marseille). Exams are held every month and you can choose your exam date (within 6 months). Registrations are closing 10 working days before the start of a session.
What’s covered ?
Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe beers with confidence. • The main ingredients of beer, their production methods • Factors that influence the style of beers • The major beer producing regions in the world and their specialties • Labeling terms • The rules for storing and serving beers • How to describe a beer using the WSET Systematic Approach to Beer Tasting® (Level 2)
Assessment
For your WSET level 1 exam : A 45 minutes final exam will take place. To obtain your certification, you will have to correctly answer 70% of the 30 multiple-choice questions. You will receive your result by email about 4 weeks after your exam date. Your certificate and pin will then be mailed to you. The success rate of our students in this exam is 100% in 2024. You can retake the exam if you do not pass for a fee of 80 euros. For your WSET level 2 exam : A one-hour final exam will take place. To obtain your certification, you will have to correctly answer 55% of the 50 multiple-choice questions. You will receive your result by email about 4 weeks after your exam date. Your certificate and pin will then be mailed to you. The success rate of our students in this exam is 100% in 2024. You can retake the exam if you do not pass for a fee of 100 euros for level 1 and 140 euros for level 2.
Pre-requisite and accessibility
This training does not require prior knowledge of wine. You must be 18 years old to register. Excellent comprehension and writing in the selected language are also encouraged to follow the course.
