Perfect for beginners, this experience will take you on a tour across France — along the Rhine in Alsace, down the Loire River, through the monasteries of Burgundy, the châteaux of Bordeaux, and two other prestigious wine regions. Discover the grape varieties of each region, their unique characteristics, and the winemaking traditions that shape the diversity of France’s finest wines.
Learn to taste like a professional with our tasting method inspired by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
COURSE PROGRAM
The different grape varieties and their expressions in the aromas and flavors of wine
The classification of wines in France: Vin de France, IGP, AOP, and the classification of crus
Viticultural and winemaking traditions
The art of tasting through the analysis of color, aromas and flavors, sweetness, acidity, tannins, body, balance, and length on the palate.
TASTINGS
6 wines from different regions, with a unique selection at each session.
The tasting includes white, rosé, and red wines, both dry and sweet. At least one Premier Cru or Grand Cru will be featured.
All our wines are carefully selected and mostly produced using organic or biodynamic methods.
