Vanessa GUÉBELS DipWSET
Founder and Managing Director
Vanessa is the founder of Weeno. After 10 years in sales and marketing, she decided to redirect her career toward one of her true passions: wine, spirits, and sake. She completed the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits in 2018 and achieved the WSET Level 3 Award in Japanese Sake in 2022.
She first opened her tasting school in Marseille to share her passion, starting in her living room with friends and neighbours before welcoming other enthusiasts and professionals from the region. Vanessa also served as Director of École V at Château de Pommard for three years.
In 2022, she chose to focus fully on her school in Marseille, expanding the curriculum to include spirits, sake, and beer, while also developing activities in Paris and online, and launching a new venture in the trade of wines, spirits, and sake.
Through Weeno, her mission is to transmit the culture of wine, spirits, Japanese sake, and beer with rigour and passion. Her commitment is to offer accessible, recognised, and enriching training programs that support everyone – from curious beginners to seasoned professionals – on their journey of learning and personal growth.
Vanessa is trilingual in French, English, and Mandarin.
Alexia HUPIN DipWSET
WSET Teacher
Former sommelier at the Majestic in Cannes, Alexia is now a wine trainer and blogger. She successfully completed the WSET Diploma in 2021 and teaches our WSET Level 3 wine courses in Marseille.

Victor CHEVROT DipWSET
WSET Teacher
Candidate for the Master’s program in Wine, Victor founded the Cave de Chaillot in Paris. He has been a wine trainer and consultant for over 5 years. He teaches our WSET Level 3 wine courses in Paris.

Florence SZYMANSKI
Teacher – WSET 3 in wines
Coach in personal development and wine enthusiast, Florence is a master of pedagogy. She also enjoys tasting fine wines with her students. Your success is her top priority. Florence leads our WSET Level 1 and 2 wine courses in Paris.

Alessandro ZUMMO DipWSET
WSET Teacher
Alessandro is italian. He left his career in finance and his native Sicily to pursue his passion for wine. A curious traveler and opera critic, he now teaches ou WSET Level 2 in Wine courses in Paris.

Julia Charlotte BASSO
Teacher – WSET 2 in beers
Julia holds the WSET level 2 in Beer, the Cicerone Certified Beer Server, and has also completed a training in zythology. She is the founder of Substances and teaches the art of beer to enthusiast, professionals, and brewers alike.

Margherita FERRARI
Teacher – WSET 3 in wines
Trained in WSET by Weeno upon her arrival in France, Margherita is Italian and passionate about wines. She teaches our WSET Level 1 and 2 wine courses in Marseille.

Claudio Olla DipWSET
Italian wine teacher
Straight from Sardinia, Claudio is an expert in Italian wines and comes each year to Weeno to share his knowledge and fine bottles. He teaches our Italian wine courses in Paris and Marseille.

Peter VUKOVIC
Web designer & graphic designer
Peter Vukovic is responsible for the design and usability of our website. He has extensive expertise in UI/UX design and e-commerce website development.
Previously, Peter was the IT Director at Château de Pommard, Creative Director at Aquarius Ogilvy, and CTO of FOUNDER.org. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Banja Luka College of Communications Kappa Phi.
Pauline Bonfils
Alternate – Business Strategy
Coming straight from London, Pauline holds a Master’s degree in foreign languages. Alongside her Master’s in Business Strategy, she collaborates on the Weeno strategy, coordinates our operations, and improves our processes daily.
